We were approached by a customer who had purchased a home 3 years ago with a radon system already installed. The fan within the system had stopped working, and she was hoping we could look at it. It was clear that a replacement fan was needed, but the company that originally installed the system and provided the warranty had gone under several years ago.
Determined to get her the service she needed; we contacted the manufacturers of the radon fan to inquire about transferring her warranty. After some talks, they agreed! In the end, a new fan was supplied for free, and all she had to pay was a small installation cost!
